Once the initial wave of accusations against Harvey Weinstein were in the public eye, several women came forward to confirm that they too were a victim of his abusive behavior. Eventually convicted of two charges that relate to him forcing himself on women, Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison. After many women were courageous enough to reveal Weinstein’s abusive behavior to the public, he was charged with several crimes and stood trial.
